AQUALINE PRIMER EMULSION

Fast drying aqueous primer promoting excellent UV adhesion whilst eliminating UV yellowing. Excellent protection of ink during print run and during transportation to UV application site.Recommended for flood UV application.

The coated material has good water resistance suited to double sided coating applications and work requiring subsequent UV varnishing.

Excellent alcohol resist properties. Excellent press stability and runnablity. High levels of rub resistance.

DIRECT FOOD CONTACT PACKAGING

• A high gloss single sided emulsion – not suitable for double sided coating.
• Water white and aesthetically pleasing.
• Good drying and excellent rub resistance provides maximum press speed potential with minimum transfer times between print and finishing.
• Formulated with substances that are cleared for use in direct contact with dry food as listed in FDA CFR21 176.170 and 176.180.

Heat resistant emulsion coating developed for gravure application where heat resistance is required. Suited to heat seal film release is typically, but not exclusively for cigarette packaging. The chosen film must always be tested prior to full production, as some acrylic coated films are not suitable with this product.

Tests should be conducted with the specific UV lacquer to be used. Must be 100% covered with UV varnish; not suitable for spot UV applications.

Heat sealable emulsion coating, developed to produce ready to use Blister Cards from a single machine printing pass. Suitable for most common blister films, i.e. PVC, PET/A, and PET/G, although different seal profiles will be required for each film type. When coating onto the reverse of the board for captive blister work (i.e. board-to-board) two passes will normally be required.

The coated material is suited for UV varnishing.
